Bugs are not getting fogged efficiently, and new features are being completed half-assed and then forgotten…  I went to my stats page yesterday only to see that the Current Rankings and Yesterdays Ranking graphs are coming soon… WTF!  I forgot all about these!

There are many other bugs, some related to templates… I want the templates to move up in the world, be able to select colors instead of manually typing them in.  I am going to create a graphical template generator, etc. etc.

The GD message system is still a piece of shit, and now comments are getting lost due to some weird error, ( I still have never personally gotten this error and I think you all are double clicking the submit button or something but I do need to look into it.)

Kudos needs a widget and pretty pages, Death Pool widget will need to be completed in a few days when sign-ups end… profile pages need a total makeover…. the homepage needs a total makeover….

We need more features tied to your friends, we need comment tracking abilities so you can follow up with convos you had going.

The list goes on and on… the problem is that making changes under a live system sucks… the message system can bring down the entire site and debugging changes just isn’t feasible.

The solution:

kclhome.com  I acquired this domain name as a way to shorten keepconnectedlive and make it easier for people to pimp the site… just say go to kclhome.com… well now kclhome.com is going to get its own home!  I am going to port this site to that domain separately and start testing there!

I am going to lock it down to no sign ups… all members will be manually added by me.  All of my moderators are automatically going to be on the volunteer list (ha ha ha, you thought that was just a badge for show!!!)  and I am taking additional volunteers to join in and test.  First thing to test is going to be messaging, then we’ll move on from there.

Just comment here to sign up, and if you do you will get a Moderator status and the free pro that comes with it.

For those who volunteer please let me know what browser you use, and what version it is.  (IE6, IE7, IE8, FireFox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, etc.)

Also for testing I will post what needs to be tested and you all can hit that piece of the test site and report any quirks… (this is where your browser is important)

Happy Birthday!  I’ll tell you what… you can even have the rest of the day off.  it is almost 9 your time anyway…

You can sign up, you can see other lists, you can even add the widget to your blog.

However the widget will not show your list and score yet.  That will be ready before the closing of signups at the end of the month.

I didn’t want to put it in and then block it from being seen… It will be easier to just wait until sign-ups are closed and THEN allow everyone to see it.
