About a week ago I stuck the Steve pillow in a corner of our front window so that it looks like a guy is peeking out. It took Ish a couple days to notice it. Took Matt about a week, and Autumn and Brad still haven't. It makes me so happy. I hope it annoys the shit out of our neighbors.

I finally took her outside and showed her. She laughed and was like "WTF?" but when she was driving away she was all, "That looks scary."

It's a small joy that gets me through the suckfest of my days. Oddly, once Matt gets home I am all better. Autumn was worried about Matt NOT going with us to Houston the first time--not for her, although she adores him, but for ME. She's like, "I know you need him and I wish he could go because he'll make it easier for all of us."
I think next time we go, he's gonna go, too.
