Ok so here�s what�s up! I am going to keep this list fresh and strike through features as they are complete� if you see one crossed off and are not familiar with it just ask!
- Match all styles: All Front pages (home, members, friends, forums, etc.) need to have matching header and menu, and color scheme
- Increase number of messages per page in inbox
- Custom Adminbar: Will allow you to set up the admin-bars color, logged-out will stay the same but logged in it will be whatever colors you make it. < changing this, you can edit how it will look on YOUR blog, not everywhere.� when people visit your blog the colors will match your stylesheet, if you use KCL Template Loader that is.� I will either be adding a new box for “admin bar” or I’ll let you know what to add to the css part of your template to make it change, I’ll see which is easier on the back end.
- Theme Editing: Allows you to create/change your own themes This is complete, but also a continuing work in progress
- Private Comments: Allows you to post a comment that only the blog owner will see
- Recent Comments: Shows 5 random comments on the home page
- Friends Manager: Shows your friends in order of most recently updated - also shows latest post
- Top 10: Will show most read blogs on the home page
- Friend Only Blogs: Much like the Friend-Only Post, you will be able to lock your entire blog down to friends only.
- Site Wide Activity Removal: I will be replacing the Site Wide Activity with some of the features mentioned above
- Recent visitors: Show some of the most recent viewers of your journal
- Stats Page: Show number of readers, your ranking against everyone else, last 24hrs worth of readers, etc.
- Mood/Music/Now Reading/Now listening: all of that stuff
- Poll: Add a poll to your blog
- Smileys: a box of smiley�s for entries and for comments.
- Recent Post Date: add the date to recent posts on the home page
- Member Block: block members from accessing your blog
- Youtube Plugin: The ability to post videos from youtube
- User choice: A featured blog pulled from a user choice page that will sit on the home page for a day
- Cool Widgets: These will come with the new template editor
- Weather with your zipcode from weather.com ? (any other site?)
- Word of the day (from this site or some other)
- Scripture of the day (from bible gateway)
- Daily “bellwork” (when I was in high school our English teacher would have a question on the board every day when we came in, our job was to answer that question with an entry in our journals) The bellwork will be the same for everyone, and there will be a page that lists the participants (you participate by adding the widget) and people can vote for the best responce to the question each day
- Site clean-up: this will be an on-going measure to remove overhead that is not needed by our unique group!
